Emballator Växjöplast AB breaks new ground in Russia – and invests in new automation
One of Russia’s biggest drink manufacturers within its segment has chosen Emballator Växjöplast as its collaborative partner for its future packaging. The agreement, that is initially worth some 12 million SEK, covers a period of three years and is the first major contract outside the Nordic Countries for Emballator Växjöplast. “The Nordic Countries and predominantly Sweden, has always been our market. To now break new geographic ground is enormously exciting as well as being completely in line with the strategy we established during 2014. Last year we made a number of changes to our long-term strategies, both in terms of the segments we wish to focus on and our geographic coverage. It is very satisfying to see that it is already providing results, even if we didn’t think that it would happen so quickly”, says Adam Airosto, MD at Emballator Växjöplast AB.
This order, together with a couple of other contracts means that Emballator Växjöplast shall now invest in new automation machines for a value of approximately 6 million SEK. ”The equipment must be in operation immediately after the summer holidays for us to be able to cope with our supplies. Challenging, but above all else, really rewarding. We now have an excellent organisation with committed personnel and together, we will meet this challenge in the best possible way”, concludes Adam.
